Description

Participants include professionals in occupational and environmental health, medical residents, physicians, researchers, private consultants and public officials in various fields of Public Health and Industrial Hygiene. We are proud to provide scholarships to students from developing countries thanks to the generous support from the International program at our university.

In addition, we offer our participants the exciting opportunity to publish their articles in a special issue of the Annals Of Global Health, dedicated to Global Occupational and Environmental Health, which will be published annually.

The main topic is global occupational and environmental determinants of disease and the need for multidisciplinary approach as a key for preventionVarious educational aspects of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) are considered and new advances in e-learning and communication technology are also discussed.  The organization of OHS services is regarded as another important aspect of the course. New emerging work-related diseases are explained and focused on methodological aspects which are capable of detecting unrecognized health hazards.

Students will work in afternoon small groups with the professors to discuss the morning presentations and will also prepare group presentations to the class during the week-long course.
